Is This Art Gallery - I Hate L.A.

Photography 1
“Returning as a stranger to a once imagined home.”

During the time I lived in Los Angeles, the first six months without a car were marked by interminable waits for buses and long walks to the metro. However, obtaining a driver’s license and purchasing my first car completely transformed my experience, giving me the freedom to explore the city in a completely different way. Photographing from the car with various cameras (Olympus Mju2, Ricoh Gr1, and Nikon F501), I captured authentic and dynamic moments of local life, transitioning from color photos, which reflected LA’s famous light and saturation, to black-and-white images with strong contrast. Each photograph became a profound visual story of the city and its inhabitants.
